Pavel Fischer

 

Born in the heart of folk music, Moravia, Czech Republic in 1965.

 

He has graduated in violin from the Prague Conservatory and Academy of Musical Art in Prague.

 

Pavel has spent over 20 years as a Leader of the Å kampa String Quartet.

 

From 1994 to 1998, he was residential artist at Wigmore Hall in London.

 

During his brilliant career, Pavel has had opportunities to cooperate with many famous artists: Josef Suk, Jiří Bárta, Dagmar Pecková, Iva Bittová, K. Scott, Ian Anderson, Jethro Tull, Janine Jansen and others.

 

Pavel Fischer has performed at various venues and stages:

Santory Hall/Tokyo

Sydney Opera Concert Hall

 

Pavel is a teacher of violin playing and chamber music at:

BCU Birmingham/UK

Royal Academy/London

 

He has composed: Three string quartets (No 1 was premiered in Carnegie Hall) and numerous compositions and arrangements for Bardolino Music (see “Repertoire”)
