Margit Koláčková

 

Graduate from the State Conservatory in Ostrava

Graduate from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague

Music Master Course at Siena/Italy

 

Long–term work in the Rejcha Piano Trio, cello leader in Talich Chamber Philharmonics, and the Kaprálová Quartet.

Currently playing in music & literature projects with A.Strejček and Taťjana Medvecká and, above all, being a member of Bardolino.

 

Prizes in international contests and performances on major stages:

International Competition of Prague Spring, International Music Competition in Trapani.

Prague Spring Festival, Prague Autumn Music Festival, Janáček May Music Festival, Mitte Europe Festival, Music Festival in Bamberg, Amati Chamber Music Festival, Kyoto Concert Hall, etc.

 

Cooperation with many Czech and international orchestras and artists, to name a few:

Czech Philharmonics, Prague Symphony Orchestra (FOK), Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, Doshisha University Orchestra in Japan, Josef Suk, Václav Hudeček, Pavel Šporcl, Magdalena Koşená, Eugen Indjic, Shlomo Mintz, Škampa Quartet,Talich Quartet, Praşák Quartet, Hana Hegerová, Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull, Sting, and others.

 

Educational activities:

Music Academy in Prague, Yamaha School, projects like Contemporary Folk Traditions, Kyoto-Prague.
